The inventions involve the creation of new tools to make it easy for surgical procedures to be completed with ease.

Dr. Saad Saad invented a device to trace the catheter when inserted inside the human body. Catheters have various applications, and sometimes, these applications need the catheter to be inserted inside the body. For the catheter to be inserted in the right position, it might need to be tracked. Tracking also enables the doctor to see exactly where the advice is located. Normally, surgeons use X-ray or an MRI machine to do the scanning. However, the process of x-ray and MRI Machines can be lengthy when all that is needed is a device to track the position of the catheter. Dr. Saad Saad sought to find a solution to this matter and he came up with this device which eliminates scanning.

With this invention, doctors will no longer have to use the x-rays and MRI machines. The device created by Dr. Saad Saad is small and portable and can be carried everywhere. It can be used in emergency situations where there might be no time to carry out a scan. Also, doctors no longer need to use guide wires to locate the catheter. Guide wires can be risky if they get stuck inside the body.

The other invention by Dr. Saad Saad involved the addition of a suction system to the endoscope that could draw body fluids from areas being examined by the doctor. Learn more:
